They Still Taste Good, Even If They Are Low Glycemic Recipes!
Low glycemic recipes are beneficial for everyone but especially people who find themselves in one of the following categories: Diabetics Hypoglycemics Persons with insulin resistance Overweight individuals Athletes
A low glycemic food plan helps to: Balance blood glucose and insulin levels Reduce excess body fat levels Increase sports performance
You can create your own healthy food recipes with many variations. When you think of yourself repeatedly being on "healthy diets", it seems like work, but healthy cooking, for some reason doesn't sound so daunting. It can be easy for everyone (or at least manageable). I know quite a few people who treat their food as medicine and that seems to help keep them on track too. Be sure to ingest enough calories per day to meet the needs of your own body. The healthy recipes Ive included here are some of our family's favourites compiled over time. Eating healthy doesnt mean we have to sacrifice good taste or never treat ourselves. I've also come across some very good information on eating with a focus on the glycemic index in the ebook entitled:
The GI Diet Breakthrough.
The cost is very reasonable and you get quite a bit of valuable information. For further information relating to low glycemic eating, visit
the Glycemic Research Institute.
Enjoy!
